(CMTO and MOH Compliant) CoVid Procedures:

Booking Appointments:

We ask you to consider whether you do need to be seen at this time.  We need to rule out want versus need during Covid, and weigh the risks of treatment (ie: potential risk of exposure to CoVid) against risks of no treatment (ie: worsening of condition requiring urgent care). We reserve the right to refuse bookings based on this.

Even though we are following all of the protocols outlined by the MOH and our regulating body, CMTO and screening clients; treatment during the CoVid pandemic is not without some risk of exposure to the virus for both client and practitioner. It is very important to understand that protocols do not eliminate the risks.

CoVid Screening:

Our screening questions are very thorough: If you are not consistently masking when in close contact or not following the latest, current guidelines as stipulated by the Ministry of Health of Ontario, a booking will not be allowed. These standards are non-negotiable.  

You will be screened 3 times for CoVid:

  1. at the time you book your appointment

  2. 48 hours prior to your appointment

  3. upon your arrival 

Pre-appointment screenings will be done via email and are to be sent back completed at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. 

Arrivals:

  • Please arrive no sooner than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. 

  • At arrival, please text that you have arrived and wait in your vehicle until we have replied to your text.  Do not come to the door without an invitation.

  • You will then be invited in; change into a medically graded mask; sanitize your hands, and then be screened for CoVid. 

During Treatment:

  • You and your therapist will remain properly masked throughout the entire visit. This is mandatory at all times including while changing clothes, lying face down or in the washroom.

  • Please bring the bare minimum with you so as not to contaminate the space. You will be shown where you may put your belongings;  adhering to these spaces makes cleaning between clients simpler and more thorough.

  • Treatment space will also be free of non-essentials: no heating pad, or self treatment tools etc.

  • The washroom will be disinfected after every use. You are welcome to use it if needed; but if you are able to wait until you are home, this would be most appreciated.

After Treatment:

  • We would like to remain contactless for payment, so we ask you to pay us via e-transfer for all services.

  • We follow a strict schedule of sanitization and disinfection and space 30 minutes between clients. As such, we ask that once  your appointment is over and paid for that we do not prolong the visit.
